Thinking back on this quote I posted a year ago, I find that one of the greatest barriers to happiness is our expectations that life fulfill our personal desires and that we become 'successful' through achieving goals and earning admiration from others. Once we realize that we chose the circumstances of our life to learn lessons and balance out our personal karma, we can learn to find the beauty and wisdom in whatever experiences we face.
