One of my favourite practices for transformation and connecting with one's inner knowing is the labyrinth. As one walks from the outer to the inner circle, fresh ideas appear, sometimes to problems that have been with you for years. You pose a question, or repeat a mantra, word or phrase, and stay open to the guidance that will come as you slowly walk along the path. It is a metaphor for life, the labyrinth takes you on a path of twists and turns, sometimes you feel closer to the center and sometimes you are much further out, but ultimately you reach the center, which could be thought of as your destiny. All the people and experiences along the way, some not understood at the time, were preparing you for where you are ultimately supposed to be. You don't need to worry about making a wrong turn, because there are no wrong turns. There is one path that was meant for you that will lead you to the center. Nothing can stop you from reaching there. When you arrive, all the twists and turns will finally make sense. They shaped and prepared you for what was rightfully yours all along.

That's such a beautiful metaphor Samantha. I live near a labyrinth and sometimes go on my morning walks, has brought me healing.

I love that- you can make no wrong turns because there is only 1 path to the center. We worry so much about making the wrong choices but there's no such thing, every experience is meant for our self-development.

We spend so much mental effort on things that have already been planned out for us, which is the illusion of choice. This causes a lot of people undue stress, anxiety and worry. The only real choice we have is how we react to the events that happen to us and by handling it with grace, we create better karma the next time around.

Your metaphor comparing life to the labyrinth is beautiful. Sometimes I did feel further out from my destiny and wondered why am I in these circumstances when I could be doing so much more important work? But I see looking back on it, I'm 66 now, that each experience had a part in giving me the unique outlook I have now. I had one conversation with a lady I never saw again but her depth of insight led me on a path of inquiry for a few years and resulted in me writing my first book. It was picked up by a major publisher. I made my living as an author since my mid thirties, who would know that one night could change everything to come?

It looks like you met with a turning point of fate that day you met her, you could check your vertex in the predictive charts and I would expect it to be highly activated. The navamsha becomes activated in your mid thirties if you aren't married, though even if you married prior to that, the navamsha though still operating, really gains in influence in the mid thirties.
